Tina Tahir is a German-American artist, illustrator and photographer based in Berlin. Her style is distinguished by exquisite detail and labor-intensive craftsmanship. Tahir was one of the first fashion photographers to fuse photography and illustration when she started out in 2000 using digital and analog collage techniques.  Since then Tahir worked with some of the world’s top musicians, fashion designers, and lifestyle publications. Her images were used for international advertising campaigns of the fashion and luxury industries, fashion editorials, and music album covers.

 

Clients include: Rosenthal AG, Deutsche Grammophon, Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Matthew Williamson, Marc Cain, Lesley Mobo, Arkadius, Eric Way,  Hallhuber, Lancôme,  Garnier International, Le Printemps Paris, Fairfax & Roberts Jewellery, Squint magazine, VSA Partners Chicago,  ZEITmagazin,  Dealer de Luxe, Citizen K, ELLE, Amica,  Petra, and Hint Fashion Magazine. Tahir collaborated with the German painter Elvira Bach and created seven album covers for the violin virtuoso Anne-Sophie Mutter.

 

Tina Tahir’s creations won several international awards, nominations, and honorable mentions, among them the 2019 London International Creative Competition (Installation), the 13th International Color Awards (nominee in Fashion), and the 2017 Global Art Awards, Dubai.
